Lynne Spears Catches NKOTB Show

Lynne Spears, the mother of Britney Spears and  Jamie Lynn Spears and OK! were amongst the early morning crowd waiting outside the Today show studios in NYC's Rockefeller Center to hear the New Kids on the Block perform together for the first time since 1994.

The mother of two of this year's biggest headline-making stars headed to the special VIP area, where sources tell OK! she was a guest of the reunited boy band. Unfortunately, neither of Lynne's two concert companions were her daughters.

After all, Britney is busy vacationing in Costa Rica with Mel Gibson, while Jamie Lynn is home in Kentwood, La., awaiting the imminent arrival of her first child.

So why on earth would the middle-aged Lynne be backstage at a New Kids concert? Turns out that Britney used to be managed by NKOTB manager Johnny Wright.
